Now enrolling for Spring 2026!

This training blends the discipline of Classical Pilates with contemporary movement science, preparing you to teach with precision, creativity, and confidence.

Traditional. Adaptable. Relatable.

The Contrology Connection program was built with a clear purpose: to honor the original work of Joseph Pilates while preparing instructors to thrive in today’s Pilates landscape. We believe that a truly great program doesn’t just teach exercises—it builds a deep understanding of the method, the body, and the art of teaching.

This curriculum is rooted in the classical system, enhanced with contemporary insights to ensure graduates leave with both depth and adaptability. This isn’t about rushing through levels or checking boxes—it’s about producing instructors who are thoughtful, well-rounded, and ready to teach with confidence from day one. We designed this program as the kind of training we wish had been available to us:

  • One that prioritizes quality over quantity

  • That dives deep into anatomy, movement mechanics, and practical teaching tools

  • That supports students with mentorship, community, and real-world experience

  • And that holds space for personal growth, curiosity, and a lasting love for the work

Contrology Connection is more than a certification—it's an immersive journey into the Pilates method, crafted to help you not only understand the "how," but the "why" behind every movement, cue, and modification. We keep our cohorts intentionally small to provide the personalized attention and mentorship that sets our graduates apart.  Whether you're beginning your teaching path or deepening your practice, Contrology Connection will equip you to teach with knowledge, integrity, and passion.

Students will master the 38 original Pilates mat exercises, gain in-depth anatomical knowledge, and develop a strong foundation in ethical and professional teaching practices. Upon completion, graduates will be fully equipped to teach classical mat Pilates with confidence and precision—cultivating a balanced connection between mind and body.

This program is ideal for aspiring instructors or dedicated practitioners seeking to deepen their understanding of the Pilates method.
